Hello everyone I am Max, and i have been involved with Bodhana in some regards since the beginning. I very much appreciate the direction we have taken over the years, and I am glad to fuse one of my greatest methods of leasure with my passion In life- helping people.
At Save Against Fear this year you can probably find me at the Registration Table. I am glad to be able to help In this way to ensure that each attendee starts their time at the convention greeted by someone with a smile on his/her face and genuinely excited that they have come... because of not for them, why are we doing this?
As for local gaming, I helped start (with Gregory Ladd) the weekly DnD group at MVP In Lancaster. Feel free to stop by... It Is designed as a drop In/drop out sory of game, so If you dont think you can show upevery week, that's ok. At this point, due to work, I attend only the last Tuesday of the month. They game there from 5p-10p and they are running 5th ed.
I also go with a friend and other Bodhana Volunteer Andrew Mull every other Saturday to 4th Wall Comics from 12-5 to run games with people. He brings quite a few games from his personal collection, and we both usually bring Magic Decks as well. Feel free to stop by and visit. If you have a game that you want to play but simply do not have anyone to play with, Bring it! We would love to game with you.
My personal interests in Gaming include- RPGs... any. I have played a ton of miltiple different editions. I am very well versed in the lore of the Forgotten Realms, and I am quite proud of my Tolkien knowledge. I have also played modern games, horror, cyberpunk, sci-fi... I'm willing to try anything.
Cards. I have recently gotten back into magic, and I'm excited to continue learning. I am an avid deck builder, but I have not taken the plunge into drafts yet (time constraints mostly). I also enjoy deck builder games (notably marvel legendary). i like the ccooperative aspect of these games.
Table top. I have not gotten into the massive army games (though I see the appeal). I do enjoy battle-tech. I also have fun with many board games, but i would say that my knowledge of them is less than the other game types.
Any questions, please shoot me a message here or on Facebook. If interested in coming to any of the weekly or bi-weekly events, please let me know! We'd love to have you!
